Helpful Tips

Storage

  • Best made fresh and consumed immediately
  • If prepping ahead, freeze individual portions in zip-lock bags (banana, berries, protein powder pre-measured) and blend with milk straight from the freezer.

Substitutions

  • Dairy-free: Use oat milk, almond milk, or coconut milk in place of regular milk.
  • Protein powder: Any flavour works β€” vanilla and berry both complement the fruit well. Unflavoured also works if you prefer a more natural taste.
  • Frozen banana: If you don't have frozen banana, use a fresh one and add a small handful of ice cubes to keep it cold and thick.
  • Berries: Any frozen berry mix works β€” strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or a combination.
  • Honey: Swap for maple syrup if preferred.

Serving Suggestions

Drink straight from the glass as a standalone breakfast or snack.
