Helpful Tips

Storage

Best enjoyed immediately. If needed, store in a sealed glass jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours and shake well before drinking.

Substitutions

  • Swap oranges for mandarins
  • Use lemon instead of cucumber for a sharper, citrus-forward juice
  • Reduce beetroot or ginger if you prefer a milder flavour

Serving Suggestions

Serve chilled on its own, over ice, or alongside breakfast or a post-training meal.

It also works well as a base juice with added sparkling water for a lighter, refreshing drink.

Directions

With a Juicer:

  1. Wash and chop all ingredients so they fit comfortably into your juicer chute.
  2. Juice the oranges, carrots, cucumber, beetroot, and ginger, alternating harder and softer ingredients for best extraction.

Without a Juicer:

  1. Roughly chop all ingredients into small pieces.
  2. Add everything to a high-speed blender with ½–¾ cup cold water (just enough to get it moving).
  3. Blend until completely smooth.
  4. Pour through a fine mesh sieve set over a bowl or jug. Using the back of a spoon, press down on the pulp to squeeze out as much juice as you can (this step helps separate the juice from the fibre). Once most of the liquid has passed through, discard the pulp.

To serve:

  1. Stir well and pour into a glass.
  2. Serve immediately over ice before drinking. Enjoy
